A graduate of Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colorado, Eric became one of the all-time leading scorers for the Bisons from 1989 to 1993.
During his four standout seasons with the Herd, he earned numerous honours, including:

GPAC Second Team All-Star
1990–91:
CIAU Second Team All-Canadian

Eric also represented Canada’s national team and, following graduation, played professionally with the Winnipeg Thunder.
