The Herd Hoops Club is proud to congratulate Cieran O’Hara on taking the next step in his basketball journey after signing with the Newcastle Knights for the 2026–27 British Championship Basketball (BCB) season.
The 6-foot-6 forward joins Newcastle following a strong U SPORTS career with the Bisons, where he became a key contributor in the frontcourt.
During the 2025–26 season, O’Hara averaged 6.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, providing the Bisons with consistent rebounding, physical play, and a strong team-first presence.
For O’Hara, the opportunity to start his career professionally in the British basketball system is an exciting new chapter.
