Bisons have added another standout from Winkler, signing 6'3" guard Dante Dyck—2024 AAA Male Player of the Year and Garden Valley’s all-time single-game scoring leader.
Dyck averaged 30.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2.8 steals in his senior year, helping lead Garden Valley to a AAA title in 2023.
He later played professionally with Olimpia Kings in Paraguay’s top league and represented Paraguay’s U20 national team.
"Dante brings a year of professional experience overseas that has helped him mature and will transition very well to the U SPORTS level," said Coach Schepp.
"He can really score the ball at all three levels, and make an impact for the next generation of Bison teams. We are very excited to see what he can do in a Bison uniform."
