Veteran Forward Segun Akinbulmo Commits to Bisons

The Bisons men's basketball team has added Winnipeg native Segun Akinbulumo, a 6'7", 245-pound forward with 48 games of U SPORTS experience at Windsor.

Akinbulumo enjoyed a breakout 2024-25 season, setting a Lancers single-season field goal percentage record (66.7%) while contributing 76 points and 82 rebounds.

Windsor's Most Improved Player in 2023-24, he brings a veteran presence to the paint as Manitoba looks to replace graduating starter Cieran O'Hara.

"Segun is in the best shape of his life and ready to bring a veteran presence in the paint next season," said Bisons head coach Kirby Schepp.
