Mason Kraus – Third-Team All-Star & Defensive Player of the Year Runner-Up
Mason Kraus earned Canada West Third-Team All-Star honours and was also the runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year, for the second year in a row.
Mason caps off one of the most decorated careers in program history. He finished as the Bisons’ all-time leader in career regular season assists (493) and steals (236) and becomes just the sixth athlete in program history to receive conference all-star honours four times.
The others to achieve this distinction are:
Terry Ball (1966–70)
Darryl Rumsey (1972–76)
Eric Bridgeland (1989–93)
Mark Virgo (1992–96)
Elliot Unger (1992/1994–96)
James Wagner (2016/2018–20, 2022)
“Mason has capped off an incredible career putting his name all over the Bison and Can West record books,” said Coach Schepp. “He finished as the all-time Bison leader in both assists and steals. Our engine at both ends of the floor, Mason set the tone for how we play the game. Congratulations to Mason on achieving league recognition for the fourth time!”
