Congratulations to Glen Bergeron, who was inducted into the Sport Manitoba Hall of Fame last night as a Builder in Sports Medicine, recognizing a remarkable career spanning more than four decades in athletic therapy.
Glen served as the trainer for the Bisons men’s basketball team in the late 1970s and went on to develop the University of Manitoba’s Athletic Therapy program, which has become one of the most respected in Canada.
Throughout his distinguished career, he also represented Canada on the medical teams at five Olympic Games and served as chief therapist for both the FISU and Pan Am Games.
