The St. Andrews Super Saints have a rich history dating back to 1923, with several players and supporters over the years contributing to the St. Andrews Scholarship Fund that continues to support Bisons athletes.

In the 1970s, the Super Saints rose to national prominence, winning the Senior A Men’s National Championship in 1972, 1975, and 1976. These teams were known for their exceptional chemistry, combining size, tenacity, and a winning mindset with skilled shooting, rebounding, and passing. More than anything, they shared a deep love for the game.

In recognition of their achievements, these championship teams were inducted into the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame in the 1990s.
