Terry Ball played five seasons with the Bisons from 1965 to 1970. A dominant force in university basketball, he was a four-time WCIAU (Western Conference Intercollegiate Athletic Union) First Team All-Star and led the conference in scoring for three seasons. Ball earned Second Team All-Canadian honours in 1967–68 and was named a First Team All-Canadian in 1968–69. That same year, he received the most votes nationally, earning recognition as National Player of the Year. He scored over 300 points in 1967–68 (18.7 ppg) and 398 points in 1968–69 (19.9 ppg), graduating as the Bisons’ all-time leading scorer.
