Rick Watts played five seasons with the Bisons from 1971 to 1976. A three-time GPAC All-Star, he earned First Team All-Canadian honours and was named a National Tournament All-Star in 1976. Upon graduation, Watts was the program’s all-time leading scorer and ranked fourth all-time in rebounds. He still holds the Bisons’ single-game scoring record of 43 points. A key contributor to the 1976 National Championship team, Watts and teammate Darryl Rumsey share the best regular season record in Bisons history — an impressive 62–10 mark (86%).
