Jim Wright (Deceased)Player Category
Jim Wright played four seasons with the Bisons from 1953 to 1957. A dominant force throughout his career, he was a Conference All-Star each season and led Manitoba to three consecutive WCIAU championships (1955, 1956, 1957) — in an era before national titles were awarded. Wright twice led the conference in scoring, became the first Bison to surpass 1,000 career points, and was a two-time recipient of the Pat Gorman Trophy as team MVP.
