Simon Hildebrandt is on the move—he has transferred from High Point University to Washington State University for the upcoming season.
At HPU last year, Simon averaged 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game and gained valuable experience competing in March Madness against Purdue.
Bisons fans will remember Simon’s standout two seasons (2022–24) with the Herd, where he was named U SPORTS Rookie of the Year in his first year and earned Canada West First Team All-Star honours in both seasons.
He also suited up with the Winnipeg Sea Bears during the summer of 2024.
The Bisons connection runs deep—Simon’s father, Erwin, played for the Bisons in 1993–94.
