Niyah Becker suited up for Canada’s Senior Women’s National Team at the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2025 in Santiago, Chile (June 28–July 6).
Canada brought home the bronze medal after a thrilling one-point double-overtime victory over Argentina.
The top-six finish also secured Canada a spot in the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
Niyah, heading into her third pro season (after stints in Slovenia and Spain), is currently training while awaiting her next overseas destination.
And the Bisons connection - she’s the daughter of Dan Becker, former Bisons coach (assistant 2000–04, interim head coach 2004–05).
