Big news from the international stage — Izzi Fust and the U23 Canadian Women’s National Team struck gold at the Globl Jam 2025 Tournament!
Team Canada won 72–65 over the USA’s Texas Longhorns, after battling against other elite squads from Brazil and Puerto Rico.
Izzi, a 6’1” forward from Winnipeg, will be heading into her second year of post-secondary play for the Regina Cougars. A proud product of Dakota Collegiate and the Manitoba Provincial Team program, she’s climbed the high-performance ladder and continues to make Manitoba proud.
And here’s the Bisons connection — Izzi is the daughter of Paul Fust, who suited up for the Herd from 1997 to 2002!
