The Bisons men’s basketball team has landed a major recruit with the return of 6'9" forward Ramogi Nyagudi.
A St. Paul’s graduate and former Basketball Manitoba Player of the Year, Nyagudi brings size, athleticism, and high-level experience to a veteran Bisons squad that reached the 2024-25 Canada West Final Four and didn’t lose a single player.
Nyagudi played NCAA Division I basketball at St. Thomas (Minnesota) and helped Canada earn bronze at the 2024 FIBA U18 AmeriCup. He averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds last season at DME Academy.
“Ramogi is an impact player who can help us win now and has pro potential,” said head coach Kirby Schepp.
“I’m ready to work with a great staff and teammates, and bring a championship back to the city,” added Nyagudi.
