On Friday, December 5 the Zak Hirshman Scholarship was presented to Jonam Kazadi by Zak’s widow, Joanne MacKean, along with their children, Jacob and Georgia.
The presentation took place just before tip-off of the Bisons men’s game against the Winnipeg Wesmen.
Some of Zak’s former teammates were also in attendance to honour his legacy and support this meaningful moment.
